Tomorrow morning, we welcome all parents/guardians to join our 1st Quarter Principals Coffee at 8:15 in the cafeteria. The administrators will kick off our coffee alongside our PTA and then we turn it over to Taylor Argue, Advanced Academics Resource Teacher (AART) to share about advanced academic programs at Lemon Road for kindergarten - sixth graders. Join us with questions or just to listen - coffee & refreshments will be served.
 FCPS will participate in National Walk and Roll to School Day on Wednesday, October 8th, in an effort to promote physical activity and reduce traffic congestion and pollution near schools. Students and employees are encouraged to bike or walk to school and work where safe to do so. Parents are encouraged to accompany their children to school. Remember that FCPS is phone-free! For elementary school students, this means:
- Smart watches that serve a dual purpose may be worn, but the phone features (texting, internet viewing, and calls) are to be off when phone use is prohibited.
- Cell phones and personal devices (airpods, earbuds, headsets, other items connected to the internet) must be off and away for the entire school day.
If you need to reach your child during the school day, please call our main office. If a student needs to reach home, they should come to the office and will have assistance making calls. Learn more about FCPS’ cell phone and personal device policy.
