Principal's Message

Chester Champions are all around the building! This school year we have revamped the positive behavior recognitions and classes are earning Chester Champions for exceeding expectations across their specials and cafeteria. Additionally, they can individually earn Chester Chips they can spend during the school year. We look forward to recognizing and celebrating our students.  On our morning news we celebrated our first groups to earn an outdoor lunch. We took advantage of a beautiful day on Wednesday to celebrate our 3rd grade students.  Also earning Champion lunch outside is Kindergarten and 1st grades. Sixth grade is in a close lead to soon earn their celebration!

With many parent information sessions, teacher conferences beginning, bike and walk to school day, upcoming book fair and science night it has been great to see many parents around the building. Thank you for your partnership and collaboration. Working together help our students thrive and we cannot do so much without your support and volunteerism!

Please check out our lost and found when you visit, as it is quickly growing beyond capacity. Labeling items with first and last name will help us get them back to your student. We will be cleaning out lost and found after 1st quarter!

Next week we hold our next 3 HR early release on Wednesday, 10/29. Later this week we will update all parents with the expected release plan.  Any changes need to be in the google form by 3PM Tuesday.

Hoping everyone is enjoying a wonderful long weekend and Happy Diwali to all who celebrate.

Sincerely,

Stacy Kirkpatrick and Lara Macdonald

Let’s take this week to thank our transportation professionals and remind students and families of the importance of bus safety.
