Principal's Message

Langley Community,

This has been a difficult week for our school community. The loss of a young person affects all of us.  As students navigate the grieving process in different ways, please encourage them to reach out for support.  Members of our Student Services team continue to be available to help students through their grief.  This document has resources that you can use to help your child during this difficult time.  If you or your child needs help after hours, FCPS has the support of the CrisisLink Regional Hotline at 703-527-4077 or text “NEEDHELP” to 85511.

Mr. Stroud

College and Career Center Updates

College Visits (Week of September 22)

LHS will be hosting college and university admission representatives for information sessions. These sessions are for junior and senior students only. The complete and the most up to date list of visits is available in Naviance; a weekly list will be shared on the Class of 2026 and Class of 2027 Schoology pages as well as through News You Choose.

These visits are for students only and require a signed pass from their teacher to attend; passes are available outside of the Career Center. Attending class should be the priority, students should not miss a test, quiz, or presentation to attend a visit. If students cannot attend, they can contact Ms. Burke for the admission representative's contact information.

Will you please donate to the PTSA today?

The PTSA supports the Langley community by funding classroom and teacher support, academic teams, sponsoring and hosting events, and working to make sure our amazing Langley staff knows how grateful our families are for the great work they do for our students.  If you read the 06/12/25 eNews, there's a list of all of the things the PTSA funded, and this year's PTSA would like to continue the same level of support or more!  This is where we need your help: Please join and donate here, and thank you for your support!  While you're at it, please check out our Back to School resource page for information on Langley class groups, boosters and more.

Click herefor additional information on how to support the PTSA!

PTSA Directory

A to Z Connect with Membership Toolkit manages the Langley PTSA private student directory for the exclusive use of Langley High School students, parents and staff. The information that the county is legally allowed to provide to the PTSA is limited. You need to login to your A to Z account and confirm what information you would like to be available in the school directory. This is not shared publicly, it's a resource for students, parents and staff.

Please do not delay and update your information now. It will only take a few seconds.
