We will also have various tables set up where you can pay for yearbooks, class fees, and spirit wear. Please remember to bring cash or a check for these payments.

Westfield Homecoming Parade: We're excited to host the Westfield Homecoming Parade at Stone Middle School on Friday, September 19th at 4:30 p.m. The parade will begin here and then proceed through the local neighborhood.
-
Asha Jyothi 5K Run/Walk: I hope to see many of you at the Asha Jyothi 5K Run/Walk in Fairfax Corner on Sunday, September 21st at 8:00 a.m. It's a great opportunity to get active and support a wonderful cause.
Halfway Through the First Quarter
It's hard to believe we are already halfway through the first quarter! We've noticed a recent increase in students arriving late to school and missing valuable instructional time. Our goal is to lower this number by the end of the quarter. Your help in ensuring your student gets out the door on time each morning is greatly appreciated.
For the next month, our school will also be focusing on a key behavioral skill: the importance of greeting those you see in the halls and as you arrive at school. A simple "hello" can go a long way in making a positive impact on our school community.
Thank you for your continued partnership.
Let’s have a great week Panthers,
Sonya Williams
Principal

Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow!
It is important for all of our students to arrive on time to school so that they do not miss important instruction.
Students should arrive to school by 7:15AM so that they can be seated in their classes and ready to learn by the first bell which rings at 7:25AM.
During the month of August, we have had 63 students tardy to 1st period and 50 students tardy to 2nd period. Please speak with your child about the importance of being at school on time.
Please visit the FCPS Attendance webpage for tips and resources to help your child maintain good attendance.

Westfield High School Homecoming Parade will be this Friday, September 19, 2025. The parade starts at Stone Middle School at 4:30pm! We hope to see you on the parade route which goes down Sully Park Dr, Kampta Dr, Cranoke Street & Braddock Road.
WFCM Food Bags
Starting Friday September 12th we will have 100 weekend food bags for those students in need. No questions asked/no qualifications necessary. First come/First serve. Students can grab a bag on their way out of the door to leave school. We only ask that students put the food in their bookbags and do not open the bags until they get home.
EPF Fuel Station
Stone MS has a food and clothing pantry right here at school. The purpose is to provide any necessary items for students during the school day such as snacks and a change of clothing. This pantry is supported by the Erin Peterson Foundation, St. Andrews Lutheran Church and Food for Neighbors. We could still use your help. If you have the ability to donate socks, leggings, and sweatpants for students we would be grateful.
