Volunteer Registration
We encourage all our parents interested in volunteering at school to visit Volunteer FCPS, click “Learn More,” and then “Sign Up.” After you create a profile, you will view an orientation video and complete a volunteer application.
All volunteers must be registered in Volunteer FCPS. This includes individuals who volunteer to chaperone on field trips, work at book fairs, and help out regularly in classrooms, libraries, or cafeterias or who help in any unpaid capacity in the school system. Volunteers who work unsupervised with students will also be required to undergo a background check.
Visit the Volunteer FCPS Frequently Asked Questions page to learn more.
Picture Day is Thursday, 9/25. All students will be photographed for the yearbook. You may also order picture packages. Flyers will come home tomorrow, Friday, September 19th with package options. To pay online, please go to www.Strawbridge.net. Click "Order Pictures" and use the code FM481743.
The Oak Hill Library will be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair from October 4th through October 10th. Volunteers are needed to set-up, use a cash register to enter sales, support students with purchases, and clean-up at the end of the fair.
Please Note: This volunteer opportunity is offered to adults only. There will be other opportunities for students to earn service hours throughout the school year.
Use this Sign-Up Genius to select a day/time that works best for your schedule. Please also start the volunteer process Thank you in advance!
