Get to Know our School Counselors -
Mrs. Amatucci and Mrs. Lunghi

School counselors Sammie Amatucci (left) and Leina Lunghi (right).

Our licensed school counselors, Mrs. Amatucci and Mrs. Lunghi, focus on helping students with their social/emotional needs, academic support, and career exploration, and are always ready with a smile.

This is Mrs. Amatucci’s 5th year as a school counselor at Churchill Road Elementary. She is excited to be working with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders. Mrs. Amatucci’s favorite memory at Churchill Road Elementary was dressing up like a traffic cone with a group for Halloween and helping with Kiss and Ride traffic.

This is Mrs. Lunghi’s third year at CRS, and she couldn’t be happier to be back! She loves getting to know our students and families and building strong connections. Her goal is to help kids become problem solvers who are kind and grateful. This year, she’s working with grades K, 1, 5, and 6. Every lesson starts with a “mindful minute” using the singing bowl, and some of her favorite things are Lunch Bunches, small groups, and one-on-one time with students.
