3-Hour Early Release Schedule
This school year, TLES will have early release days on select Wednesdays.
Please complete our survey to let us know if your child will need after school care. Please complete a separate form for each child you have enrolled in TLES. Your response will apply to ALL 3-hour early release Wednesdays for the year. If changes need to be made, please notify the front office at least one week prior.

🚌Transportation Patience and Safety
Thank you for your patience as we all get used to new routines this school year. We appreciate our families following Kiss and Ride procedures and being patient while waiting for your children’s buses.
If your student’s bus is delayed, you may access the Bus Delay Notification System or use the Here Comes the Bus mobile app to receive the delayed bus report. Email messages will be sent to announce significant bus delays. Please contact the Transportation Office at [phone number] with any additional questions. For concerns after 5:30 p.m., contact the FCPS Office of Safety and Security at 571-423-2000.
Update your contact information in SIS ParentVUE to make sure you receive email messages about bus delays.
🔍 See Where Your Child Goes Online With Lightspeed
Parents can access their child’s activity on FCPS devices through Lightspeed, the school division’s internet content filtering service. Parents may sign up for a weekly Parent Report, which will provide a list of the top sites their child visited.
The report also offers parents the ability to sign up for the Internet Use Parent Portal. Through the portal, parents may pause their child’s access to the internet on their FCPS device during non-school hours.

 Join the PTA on Thursday, August 28, via Zoom to learn your rights and how to protect yourself and your community. All immigrants and allies are welcome. Presentation will be in both English and Spanish. Registration is required.
*TLES's 70th Anniversary!!!*
Did you know that TLES opened it's doors for the very first time on September 6th 1955? This fall, TLES will have served the Falls Church community for 70 years! We will be having TLES's 70th Anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 6th from 11:30am-2:30pm.
Planning is under way for this special event. We are looking forward to an afternoon full of food trucks, arts & crafts, inflatables, live music, a TLES memorabilia display, and much more!
