Happy third week of school! We hope your family is settling into a smooth routine as we continue this exciting start to the school year.
A big thank-you to everyone who joined us for the Odyssey of the Mind informational meeting! Just a reminder, the deadline to sign up as a student participant or volunteer is next Friday, September 12. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity for creative problem-solving and teamwork!
We’re also excited to share that planning is underway for our 3rd Annual PTA Global Community Festival! If you’d like to be part of this amazing event, please fill out and return the participation form to your child’s teacher. You can also sign up online using the following link:

- Primary Back to School Night: Tuesday, Sept 16th from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm
- 3 Hour Early Release: Wednesday September 17th

- Upper Back To School Night: Tuesday, September 30th from 5:30 pm- 7:30 pm
Join us for our first General PTA meeting on September 10th! Learn about the exciting things happening at both schools, meet our principals, and connect with some of our PTA members. We will have childcare available for those who need it. Please make sure to arrive by 6:15 PM to register your child. Light refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you there!

Mark your calendar! This school year, our 3-hour early release day will fall on Wednesday. Please make sure to fill out the survey indicating how your child will be getting home or if they will need after-school care.
Our first 3-hour early dismissal will be on Wednesday, September 17th.

Back by popular demand! Let Chuck E. Cheese take care of dinner on Sept. 25. We are looking forward to spending some time with everyone at our first fundraiser of the school year. This is a perfect way to meet other Bailey's Bailey’s families and connect with them.

Bailey's Upper and Bookworm Central are teaming up to offer a book fair for students and their families! Students will have the opportunity to view books via preview days during school, prior to sales opening.
From Friday, September 26 through Friday, October 3, the book fair will be open during the school day for classes or groups of students to purchase books. The book fair will also be open for students/parents/guardians after school from 3:40-5:00pm on four dates, as well as during Back to School Night on September 30th:
· Friday, September 26, 3:40-5:00pm
· Monday, September 29, 3:40-5:00pm
· Tuesday, September 30 (Back to School Night), 5:00-7:30pm
· Wednesday, October 1, 3:40-5:00pm
· Friday, October 3, 3:40-5:00pm
More information regarding teacher wish lists and acceptable forms of payment will be coming soon.
We're also looking for volunteers to help sell books at Bailey's Upper, on each of the five days/times. Join us!
