PTSA News

Greetings from the PTSA President

Welcome, Justice Wolves, to the 2025-2026 school year!  We’re off to a fantastic start, with a lot of enthusiasm, after providing a Welcome Back Breakfast for the teachers, staff, and administration, greeting students and staff at Wolf Pack Welcome, and meeting several parents dropping their incoming Freshman off for orientation.  On the first day of school, we were happy to provide some breakfast items and refreshments to the Class of 2026 as they gathered on the newly spruced up football field (How about that awesome new scoreboard!) before dawn for Senior Sunrise!  The first week of school isn’t even over and already things are happening!

Thank you to my fellow PTSA Executive Board members this year: Michele Beier, our Treasurer; Nora Shank, our Secretary; and, Gena Wright, our Vice President for Communication; for helping us get the year off to a great start. Also, special thanks to Vicki Sneed, head of the Wolf Shack, Jody McKitrick, social media lead, and all the volunteers and members who have joined our PTSA and are already contributing to making this a wonderful year for Justice High School!

Paul Monsky

JHS PTSA President 2025-2026

The Wolf Shack: Our Justice PTSA-Sponsored School Food & Resource Pantry Needs Your Support!

The Wolf Shack is our PTSA-sponsored in-school food and resource pantry available to Justice students. In the Wolf Shack, we provide FREE snacks, food, toiletries, clothing and other essential resources for ALL students. Our Wolf Shack volunteers serve over 1,000 students a month and are open after school from 3-5pm on Wednesdays & Thursdays (starting after Labor Day) every week in Room B27 between the Black Box Theater and the Little Theater.  The Wolf Shack can also be accessed anytime through teachers, social workers and counselors.

We need your help - the success of the Wolf Shack is fully dependent upon the financial support and volunteerism of the students, staff, and community!

We are asking you to support The Wolf Shack in any of the following ways:

  • Drop-off or have any donation delivered to the front office of JHS (just label with "PTSA Wolf Shack")
  • Purchase directly from our Amazon wish-list and deliver straight to the school (jhsptsa.org/wolfshackwishlist)
  • Make a financial donation which allows us to fill urgent needs (jhsptsa.org/wolfshackfund)
  • Volunteer for weekly open hours or for our food pick ups and Red Bag Days (sign up at jhsptsa.org/wolfshacksignup or email us about opportunities)
  • Organize a food and toiletry drive through your community, church, clubs and/or service organizations

Email wolfshack@justicehsptsa.org with any questions or ideas! Thank you again for your support and generosity!

Help Fill the Wolf Shack Throughout the School Year – Become a Food For Neighbors Red Bag Donor Today!

Food for Neighbors is one of the Wolf Shack's biggest donors. Food for Neighbors has a Red Bag Donor program across area middle and high schools: Five times during the school year, you fill a Red Bag (dropped off at your door by Food for Neighbors) with food from a suggested grocery list. Drivers pick up the filled bag right from your front door and volunteers sort the food to distribute to local schools the same day! Such an easy way to help! Such an easy way to help make sure the Wolf Shack stays stocked up!

The more Red Bag Donors Justice has, the more food for The Wolf Shack. THE FIRST RED BAG SATURDAY OF THIS SCHOOL YEAR IS SEPTEMBER 13TH!  So let's show some Wolf Pack Pride and sign up to be a red bag donor today! https://www.foodforneighbors.org/red-bag-program/

As noted above, donations for Wolf Shack can also always be brought to PTSA meetings, dropped in the front office of Justice High School (labeled PTSA Wolf Shack) OR purchased from our Amazon List and delivered directly to JHS. Please continue to donate food, essentials and/or money (https://www.justicehsptsa.org/wolfshack/).

Back to School Night - Wed, Aug 27 from 5:30-8:45 pm

This school year we will host Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 5:30 pm-8:45 pm at Justice High School. From 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, you may buy Justice gear, buy athletic event Pack Passes, sign up to become a member of the PTSA, learn about Title I, preview Family Life Education materials in grades 9-12, and meet our different school support personnel, including our parent liaisons and technology team.

We also invite our Senior parents to an information session from 5:45-6:15pm on college deadlines, how to request an official transcript, senior packet deadline for the School Counselor College Letter of Recommendation, NCAA recruiting information and other important timelines.

The main program begins at 6:30 pm and runs until approximately 8:45 pm. During this time, families will be able to rotate through their student’s schedule and meet each of their teachers by period. We look forward to seeing you at Justice High School’s Back To School Night!
