We’re rolling out the blue carpet for our newest Navy Stars—our amazing kindergarteners!
Join us on Friday, August 8 from 10:00–11:00 a.m. on the playground for a Popsicle Party with our school leadership team: Mr. Pannutti, Mrs. Jimenez, and our newest AP, Mrs. Seck!
You’ll also get to meet our incredible kindergarten teachers, who are ready to welcome your child with open arms and big smiles! 💙 There will be cool treats, new friends, and a special photo op at our Kindergarten Signing Station 📸✍️—a fun way to mark the start of this exciting journey.

We know how excited our Navy families are to find out who their child’s teacher will be this year! On Monday, August 11, families will receive a welcome email from their child’s classroom teacher. This email will include an invitation to our Open House, next week.
We can’t wait to kick off another amazing year with our Navy Stars! 💙⭐

We know many families are eager to learn more about Advanced Math at Navy! If your child has been placed in an Advanced Math class this year, you will receive an email by Wednesday afternoon, August 13.
If you do not receive an email, your child has been placed in the on-grade-level math class.
As a reminder, placement in Advanced Math was based on multiple data points, including:
- Completion of a rigorous math task

Longitudinal iReady and SOL performance data
- Teacher input through a math rating scale
If you receive the notification and would like to opt your child out of Advanced Math, please contact Sheila Pardo in the front office.
Our Kiss & Ride procedures are currently under review to ensure a safe and efficient arrival and dismissal for all students.

The 2025-26 Online Verification/Update (OVU) packet will be available in ParentVUE starting July 25th. The OVU packet allows parents to electronically update phone numbers, emergency contacts, health conditions, and upload immunization records for their students via ParentVUE. Electronic capture of this information improves data quality and reduces staff workload.
