Dear Cedar Lane Families,
This year the PTSA finds itself in a difficult position as all four of our Executive Board positions need filling. Yes, we are in need of a President, Vice President, Treasurer AND Secretary. Without these positions filled, there will be no PTSA this year! The PTSA is crucial to student success in so many ways, to include:
- Interfacing with administration and providing feedback
- Sponsoring mini grants to teachers and staff,
- Fundraising for school field trips, dog therapy, much needed cooking class supplies, school store, Cedarfest and more
- Planning and implementing Staff Appreciation Week as well as other events,
- Arranging engaging speakers,
- and providing student awards including scholarships.
Meetings are traditionally once per month for no more than an hour to two hours with minimal additional time commitments.
