Remembrance Ceremony for Elijah (Eli) Medrano Pardo

A wooden pole stands in a quiet area in front of Weyanoke Elementary School. Our Peace Pole is where we honor those we have lost as a community.

We would like to invite all members of our school community to a special remembrance ceremony for Elijah (Eli) Medrano Pardo.

On Saturday, August 9, 2025, we will be adding Eli's name to Weyanoke's Peace Pole. This will be a permanent tribute to a cherished member of our community.

The ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the Peace Pole in the grassy area in front of the school. During the ceremony, there will be an opportunity for anyone who wishes to share a few words or a special memory of Eli to do so.

We hope you will join us as we honor Eli and provide comfort and support to one another.
