Save the Date: Providence Day and Back to School Celebration

Dear Neighbors,

I hope you are enjoying a restful and rejuvenating summer. While school may be out, there’s still plenty happening across Providence District and Fairfax County Public Schools — from summer learning opportunities and free meals for students to outdoor concerts and creative challenges like the FCPS Puzzle Hunt.

As we gear up for another exciting school year, I’m especially looking forward to co-hosting Providence Day and Back to School Celebration with Supervisor Dalia Palchik on September 20. Mark your calendars now — it’s a great way to reconnect with neighbors and kick off the new school year.

And if you’re looking for something fun to do before school starts, I hope you’ll check out one of the upcoming Providence Presents concerts. These free, family-friendly shows are a great way to enjoy local music and connect with neighbors on summer evenings. I hope you’ll join me in enjoying the incredible music at one of these fantastic events.

In service,

Karl Frisch
Providence District Representative
Fairfax County School Board
