Thank you to two of our amazingly talented staff for creating a gorgeous new mural for Island Creek! Ms. Crevecoeur and Ms. Morales have donated their time and creative skillset to beautiful Island Creek for our Crocs!

 Campus Survival Kits will provide additional headphones that will be kept in the office. Any student who orders a kit and their headphones break will be able to come to the office to trade for a new one. We will then send the broken headphone to Campus Survival so they can troubleshoot the issue. This new process will allow students to easily replace their headphones and give Campus Survival the opportunity to investigate issues and correct them quickly.
FCPS’ Summer Meal Service Program provides breakfast and lunch free of charge to all children aged 18 and younger. Check FCPS’ Food and Nutrition Services webpage and the USDA Summer Meals for Kids Site Finder for specific dates, times, and locations. Limited early release days in FCPS elementary schools will shift to Wednesdays for the 2025-26 school year.
Early release Wednesdays for Island Creek Elementary school-age students will be at 12:20 on the following dates:

- December 17
- February 25
- March 25
- April 29
- May 20
