🐝 A Message from Principal Crews
Hollin Meadows School Community,
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. The school seems so empty without our Hollin Hornets, but I am sure everyone is enjoying their break. It has truly been a pleasure to be the principal of our beautiful school. I am extremely grateful for your ongoing support and partnership. Our team is already excited and planning for next school year.
Please join me in welcoming Mr. Dan Seidenberg as our new Assistant Principal. Most recently, Mr. Seidenberg served as Assistant Principal at West Potomac High School. In that role, he supported school improvement efforts, led the implementation of IXL, and helped drive a 10% increase in science SOL scores.
Prior to that, Mr. Seidenberg worked as the Region 3 Data Specialist in the Office of School Support, supporting our school and all schools in the region. He collaborated with region and school leadership teams on school improvement efforts through Project Momentum. He has also served at both the elementary and secondary levels as a School-Based Technology Specialist, providing educational technology coaching.
Mr. Seidenberg began his teaching career at a charter school in Washington, DC, and later taught high school science when he joined FCPS. His leadership experience also includes serving as a Site Director for elementary summer programs within the division.
We are extremely lucky to have him join our Hollin Meadows School Community!
