📆Last Day of School - June 11
Please note that we will take attendance on the last day of school, Wednesday, June 11 and there will be an early dismissal at 2:00 PM.
Student Testing Results Coming Soon
Throughout May and June, you will receive your child’s spring assessment results. If you aren’t sure what assessments your child took this year, view this list of tests by grade level.
How the results are delivered depends on the test. Scores will be delivered in SIS ParentVUE or from the school or testing organization. Learn what to expect regarding assessment reporting practices and timelines.
Visit the FCPS website for additional information about how test results are reported to families. Individual test websites provide report translations and help with interpreting test results. Caregivers should contact their children’s schools with any testing questions or for additional information about how schools and teachers use test results to support student success.
Access Test Results and Grades in SIS ParentVUE
Signing up for a SIS ParentVUE account helps you to support your child’s academic success! Caregivers can view important information like attendance, grades, progress reports, and assessment scores through ParentVUE.
Once you have activated a ParentVUE account for an FCPS student, you will keep the same account until the student graduates. And information about students in the same family can be accessed through the same account. A SIS ParentVUE app is available for Apple and Android devices.
Need help creating a SIS ParentVUE account? This video walks through the steps. Find out more about SIS ParentVUE.
If you already have an account, be sure your contact information is up to date. Learn more about updating your information on ParentVUE

 Dear Beech Tree Families,
As the last day of school rapidly approaches, this will be our final PTA message for the 2024-25 school year. Though our formal meetings may pause for the summer, our work continues with the upcoming 5th grade celebration, clean-up efforts and preparations for next year.
The terms for our current PTA Secretary, Jessy Teickensen, and my own term as PTA Co-President are coming to a close. It has been an incredible honor and a true joy to serve the Beech Tree community in this role.
At our final PTA meeting on Thursday, I was presented with a beautiful gift—a bench that will be placed on Beech Tree grounds. I am truly humbled and filled with gratitude for this incredible recognition. A special thank you to everyone who helped coordinate, contributed to and surprised me with this heartfelt gift. Your thoughtfulness means so much to me and is a reminder of the generosity and spirit that make our community so special.
Our PTA truly is a labor of love and it would not be possible without the dedication, support and collaboration of so many—teachers, staff, families and my fellow board members, who all go above and beyond to serve our students. I am also incredibly grateful for the leadership of Principal Clarke and Assistant Principal Barry, whose dedication has been instrumental to the PTA's success.
I am thrilled to congratulate our newly elected PTA board members for the 2025-26 school year: President: Michelle Sinclair Treasurer: Meghan Peters Secretary: Jenna McCoy
Michelle, Meghan and Jenna: thank you for your unwavering support of the PTA and the Beech Tree community. We look forward to your leadership in the year ahead!
For those who are interested in joining the PTA, we would love to have you. We are still looking for volunteers to fill the Vice President position(s) and other leadership roles with more flexible time commitments to coordinate specific PTA events. These can be shared positions and every contribution makes a difference.
At our recent meeting, we also took time to celebrate all of our volunteers for their hard work this year. For those who couldn’t be there, please know how much we appreciate each and every one of you. Our events would not be possible without your dedication and support. Thank you for helping us build such a strong and vibrant community.
Wishing you a wonderful end to the school year and a great start to your summer! I hope you all find time to relax, have fun and enjoy some well-deserved moments with your families.
Warmest regards,
Penny
