Legacy Walk

.

Herndon High School's Legacy Walk is a cherished tradition that beautifully connects the past with the present, and inspires the future. Each year, as graduation approaches, seniors don their caps, gowns, cords, and medals, returning to the elementary and middle schools they once attended. This poignant journey sees them walk the familiar halls, now as accomplished young adults, while current students and their former teachers line the corridors, offering enthusiastic applause and cheers. It's a powerful full-circle moment, allowing the graduating class to reflect on their educational journey and acknowledge the foundational role their earlier schools and educators played. For the younger students, witnessing these successful seniors serves as a tangible reminder of their own potential and the bright future that awaits them at Herndon High School.
