📚 VIENNA LIBRARY UPDATE & SUMMER READING ADVENTURE! 📚

Important Vienna Library News: Patrick Henry Library closed on May 9th as construction begins on the exciting new Vienna-Carter Library project! A temporary location will open in June at Cedar Park Shopping Center (262 Cedar Lane) offering a browsing collection, holds pickup, WiFi, Chromebooks, and some programming.

Until the temporary location opens, Vienna Vikings can visit nearby branches including Oakton Library, City of Fairfax Regional, or Tysons-Pimmit Regional. Remember to update your holds pickup location in your online account!

The future Vienna-Carter Library will be an impressive 19,000 square foot facility with outdoor reading spaces, flexible community areas, and environmentally-friendly features. Construction starts next month with completion expected in early-mid 2027.

Summer Reading Adventure begins June 11th! Pre-register starting June 4th at fairfaxcounty.beanstack.org for this year's "Color Our World" theme. Earn virtual badges by reading books or completing activities, then visit any branch to claim your prizes! Bonus: Registration enters you into a drawing for $25 Scrawl Books gift cards from the Fairfax Library Foundation.

Keep reading all summer long, Vikings! 💜📖
