Sunrise Valley extends congratulations to our former students who will be walking across the stage this week as South Lakes High School graduates — we couldn’t be prouder! On Monday, our students and staff are excited to welcome you back to the halls where your journey first began. We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you!

🏫 2025 First Day of School
Monday, August 18, is the first day of school for the 2025-26 school year. View the 2025-26 school year calendar.
Elementary schools will continue Early Release days to provide increased teacher planning time. Please note that these days are shifting from Mondays to Wednesdays for the upcoming school year.
3-Hour Early Release Wednesdays:
September 10, October 8, November 12, December 10, February 18, March 18, April 22 & May 13

Our last SVTV Weekly Report of the 2024-2025 school year is here! Thanks to our 6th graders for leading the charge in a creative, community-focused show. Look forward to a new batch of 6th graders taking over for the 2025-2026 school year.
LAST CHANCE! Is your student missing a jacket, sweatshirt, or those must-have water bottles? Stop by the lost and found in the cafeteria to claim any missing items.
Please note: All unclaimed items will be donated to a local shelter after the last day of school.
Do you have a rising kindergartener or know someone who does? Contact us at membershipSVESPTA@gmail.com to receive invites for summer kindergarten playdates, and make sure to join our Facebook Group (“SVES PTA”) for summer announcements. Currently, we have three rising K playdates planned. All will take place at the Sunrise Valley playground at 11am.

Save yourself time and trouble this summer and order 2025-2026 school supplies through the PTA. Kits will contain all teacher-requested supplies and be delivered to your child's classroom in August. Questions? Contact Heidi Driscoll.

It’s hard to believe that another school year is drawing to a close! Everything the PTA does is thanks to the members of the community who invested time, money, and talents to support our students, teachers, and staff.
The 2024-2025 school year was full of learning, fun events, and coming together as a community. We’d like to thank the following people who took the lead in making everything happen:
