Family Summer Engagement Card
With summer approaching, we wanted to provide some ideas and activities for your families to participate in during your break. The topics include academic areas, SEL, acts of service, explorations tied to curriculum, and recommendations from our green team. These cards are coming home with your students today in Thursday folders. You will also find an electronic copy attached here. Summer Engagement Card
As you complete the activities, and make modifications as needed, please make sure to tag your pictures on our Instagram (@DEERPARKFCPS) so that we can see all of the fun things your families do together!
Please keep your completed card and be on the lookout for information about a celebration that will include popsicles on the playground in August.

Asha-Jyothi 2025
Save the date for next school year!
Deer Park is pleased to announce that we will once again partner with Asha-Jyothi to support their 17th Annual Fun Run! The Asha-Jyothi (AJ) 5K Run is a fun-filled family event with foot tapping music, delicious food and a friendly course. It is a volunteer based non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the underprivileged by providing access to education and healthcare.
AJ generously donates all the registration money from each school back to the school for its STEM needs.
Last year we had 153 participants from Deer Park! Let's beat our number of registrants from last year - this is a huge fundraiser for the school and a great opportunity to practice our running! Register now and join the fun!

Parents and families are invited to celebrate the accomplishments of our sixth grade students and reflect on their time at Deer Park on June 11th at 9:00 a.m. Doors open at 8:50 a.m.
Students should "dress their best" in appropriate attire for this special day.
