We hope you're enjoying these final days of the school year! A special thank you to our Nominating Committee for their hard work and care in helping assemble next year’s PTA leadership team.

We still have one open position for STEM Vice President, a key role that helps oversee extracurricular STEM programs such as Lego League, Odyssey of the Mind, and Science Olympiad. If you're passionate about STEM or just looking to get more involved, we’d love to hear from you!
School Supply Kits are now available for purchase through our fundraiser with Sprout through July 8. These kits are competitively priced, teacher-approved, and delivered directly to school to make back-to-school season a breeze. Proceeds benefit our PTA programs.
Cash or check orders must be placed by this Friday—please email the PTA (communicationsvp@hwpta.org) with your child's full name and grade for the 2025-2026 school year.

Order School Supply Kits Today
The Hunters Woods PTA has partnered with Sprout to simplify your school supply purchasing process. You can order grade-specific supply kits for your students that will be delivered right to the school. Simplify your preparations for back to school by ordering your kit today!

Offline Orders: If you'd like a kit but would prefer to pay cash or check, please email communicationsvp@hwpta.org by June 18. Please include your child's name and grade for the 2025-2026 school year in your email. Payment can be made by cash or check made out to HWES PTA.
Supply Kit FAQs
A couple quick notes about the school supply kits:
This supply kit sale is a PTA fundraiser. The PTA makes $5 per kit ordered.
These school supply kits are competitively priced with bulk order discounts.
This year, Sprout is transitioning to classroom cleaning wipes that contain fewer chemicals.
Order deadline for online orders is July 8, 2025.
School supply kits will be delivered directly to school prior to the beginning of the school year.
6th Grade Celebration Volunteers Needed
The advancement celebration for our amazing 6th graders is just around the corner! We are reaching out to request your assistance in ensuring that this day is a success.
We need volunteers the day of the event to assist with the celebration. If you are able to lend a helping hand, please sign up using the Sign-Up Genius link. Volunteers with students in any grade are welcome to sign up. We're still looking for volunteers to help with:
- Filling the dunk tank
- Supervising t-ball games
- Setting up for the slide show presentation (slide show will already be created)
Please be a few minutes early for your shift and check-in with a photo id in the school office.

We still need volunteers for 2025 Field Day! This fun event is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10. We still need volunteers to fill the following spots:
- 7 volunteers needed for 9:30-11:30am for 4-6th grades
- 2 pop-up tents

Check out the Autism Research Institute's workshop on “Externalizing behaviors: Addressing unmet needs and setting up an environment for success”.
