Hello Braddock Community!
I hope you are well and enjoying the end of year celebrations! While I know "Maycember" can be very hectic, it is also a time filled with the joy of celebrating our students and staff! I've heard from several folks in the community regarding our ongoing boundary review work, so I want to send a quick reminder of the upcoming community meetings where we are seeking your input on the latest draft plans. Please see below for more information. I know it is a busy time, but I hope you can attend one of these meetings or use the Boundary Explorer Tool to provide your feedback. Your voice matters in this process! We really want and appreciate feedback from the community to inform the consultant's work.
As always, please reach out to my office if we can be of assistance!
All my best,
Rachna

Boundary Review Community Meetings
This past week, FCPS held two more Boundary Review Community Meetings on Monday and Friday at Herndon and Lewis high schools respectively. Participants were able to explore and visualize potential boundary scenarios using a customized Boundary Explorer Tool, which is also available on our website.
You can watch this video to learn how to use the tool. Before the end of the school year, we will have four additional community meetings (listed below; click on a date to register). I invite you to attend (either in-person or through Zoom) to review scenarios and provide feedback. Childcare for in-person participants and language interpretation/translation for all participants will be available as needed.
