Anne Snyder (Vice President 1) is the mom of a current second grader (Colin) and a rising kindergartener (Ellie), as well as an almost 2 year old (Hazel). She grew up in Vienna (and went to Wolftrap!) but returned to the area in 2016 after graduating from law school. Anne is thrilled to once again be part of the Wolftrap community and to have the opportunity to support all its members as a PTA VP! |

Jessica Black (Vice President 2) has lived in Vienna, VA with my her husband, Jon, and son, Bennett (second grade), for three years. Prior to coming to VA, her family was in south central PA. Jessica is excited to take on one of the roles of Vice President for Wolftrap Elementary School! She is looking forward to meeting everyone and supporting parents, teachers and students in the upcoming school year. |

Stephanie Wolter (Treasurer) has been part of the Wolf trap family since her son, Isaac, began kindergarten in 2020. She, her husband, and son moved to the area in 2016 from their native NJ and have loved getting to know the town and community (especially all the town-wide and school-wide celebrations!). She has a background as a financial analyst, an artist, and is a life long math enthusiast. Stephanie is excited to bring all of those to the position of Treasurer for the next two years. |
Returning board members:

Britt Mintz (President) is excited to step into the role of PTA President for the upcoming school year. She has two children at Wolftrap—Henry, a rising fourth grader, and Heidi, who will be in second grade. Her family moved to Vienna two years ago with her husband, who serves on active duty in the military. Britt is passionate about supporting the Wolftrap community and looks forward to a fun and fulfilling year ahead with the PTA. |

Linda Pugel (Secretary) will be returning for her second year as secretary. She is a Northern Virginia native, and grew up in Prince William County. She has two boys, currently in second (Henry) and fourth grade (Harrison). Linda is a huge sports enthusiast, who had dreams of becoming a sports commentator for ESPN, and loves to cook. What makes her happiest is being with her boys, and spending time at Wolftrap volunteering in their classrooms, library, and joining them for lunch on occasion! She looks forward to serving her second year as PTA Secretary at Wolftrap! |
Wolftrap's annual Memorial Day ceremony was held on Friday, May 23rd, in front of the school.
From Emmanouel Lee, 2nd grade parent and Military Appreciate committee lead:
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the students, staff, and parents who joined us for Friday’s Memorial Day flag raising ceremony. Your presence made the event truly meaningful. A special thank you goes to Will Rifenbark and Rhian Thomas for their leadership in guiding the scouts during the flag ceremony—it was a powerful tribute. We’d also like to recognize the Girl Scouts for their outstanding contributions to the Morning News Show this past week.

This year's field day is Wednesday, June 4th, and Mr. Bechtle is looking for volunteers! Please visit the sign-up sheet to volunteer for a spot!
Ideally, it would be great to have a morning set of volunteers and an afternoon set. *Preferably parents of students who are participating in that session, so that they are able to see their kids.
The PTA Board held an end of the year "thank you" event on May 28th to honor members/volunteers who help make Wolftrap so wonderful! The celebration was at Vienna Vintner, and had a great turn out! The current board was recognized, to include departing members, Jenna Pietropola (served two years as Treasurer) and Aarti Desai (served two years between Vice President and President). The newly elected board for 2025-26 was also introduced! Thank you so all who attended!
