🤝 Deloitte's Impact Day🤝
Poplar Tree Elementary School will be hosting a group of volunteers from Deloitte’s Impact Day on Friday, June 6th. The team, led by PTES parents Jason Richards (2nd Grade) and Jillian Ramlogan (2nd Grade), will help teachers pack up their classrooms and finish end of year tasks, create a new sensory walk outside of the school, and perform beautification to the exterior of the school. Volunteers will be wearing Deloitte-branded attire and will not interfere with the 6th Grade Promotion Celebration occurring that morning.
If you are a PTES family member who works at Deloitte, you can sign up on the internal Deloitte Impact Day page beginning Monday, 5 May. If you have additional questions, please contact Jason Richards (richa2jm@gmail.com) and Jillian Ramlogan (j@ramlogan.me).

Poplar Tree Field Day
Our Poplar Tree Field Day will be Friday, May 30, 2025. Please see the flyer for specific times for each grade level. We will need volunteers to make the day successful! Check out the Sign Up Genius HERE to volunteer!
Poplar Tree Adapted Field Day
Students participating in our self-contained Adapted PE classes will be engaging in stations with their PE Pals as part of a culminating activity on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. They will then be transitioning out to the playground to continue the fun.
If you would like to join your child and their classroom teachers to continue the fun, please plan to head to the playground from 1:45-2:15pm. You will need to check in at the front office before the event. Please email Kirsten Birge at KEbirge@fcps.edu by May 30th if you are planning to join!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our PTA Nominating Committee for their thoughtful work in identifying and recruiting new leadership for the upcoming school year. Your time, effort, and care in building a strong slate of candidates is deeply appreciated!
A big thank you as well to the amazing parents who have stepped up to serve as PTA board members. Your willingness to volunteer your time and talents helps keep our school community strong, connected, and thriving.
Make Your Voice Count! Please join us at our upcoming PTA meeting to vote on the proposed slate of board members. Your participation ensures a smooth transition and helps us continue the important work of supporting our students, teachers, and families.
