Kings Park ES Ten Points of Pride: Read, Read, Read!
At Kings Park Elementary School, we take pride in the unique programs, dedicated staff, and strong sense of community that make our school a special place to learn and grow. Each week, we'll highlight one of our "10 Points of Pride" to celebrate what makes Kings Park exceptional!
Meet Me at the Library Program
Kings Park Elementary School partners with WETA for “Meet Me at the Library” several times a year. Our families join us at the Kings Park Public Library for stories, games, and activities focused on literacy, math, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). Every student leaves with a free book and Meet Me at the Library is a Kings Park tradition! We will share dates for the 2025-2026 school year when students return in August.
Fairfax County Public Library Summer Reading
This week, we look forward to hosting the public library on Thursday during their specials time. Students will learn about the summer reading programs offered by the Fairfax County Public Library. This year's summer reading theme is Color our World. Beginning June 4th adults and children can register to participate. This summer, don't forget to READ, READ, READ!
