Rising 6th Grade Parents: Step Up as Chairs for Next Year's Basketball Challenge

Kudos to Marisa Boyle, Amy Ferrara, and Alejandra McCarthy for signing up to lead concessions at next year's Basketball Challenge - Thank you! We now need two parents to organize and lead this event with the Fox Mill Chairs.Ā Chairs will choose a date, recruit coaches and volunteers, and oversee the program. It's a big event, but it's well-documented! Past leaders have created timelines and detailed how-to guides. If you want to ensure this event happens next year for your rising 6th grader, or if you just love basketball, please sign up to lead!Ā

We want to have leads in place before school lets out, so that the date can be set and the SLHS gym can be reserved over the summer. Questions? Contact Jennifer Glynn.Ā

Phase 2 Community Boundary Review Meetings

We invite you to participate in a series of community meetings in order to review and reflect on the initial draft scenarios before the start of summer break. Another round of community meetings will be held in the fall.

As part of these community meetings, families, staff, and community members will be able to explore andĀ visualizeĀ potential boundary scenariosĀ using a customized Boundary Explorer Tool.Ā The tool will also be accessible from our website.Ā

Each meeting will be hybrid, meaning that you may attend in person or via Zoom. Childcare for in-person participants and language interpretation/translation for all participants will be available as needed. Registration links will be shared soon.

Visit our Comprehensive Boundary Review webpage for more information. Stay tuned for a timeline outlining the remainder of the boundary review process.Ā
