Dear Belle View Families,
I hope this message finds you well and that you all fared well after
This week, we have spent a lot of time talking to students about perseverance and finishing strong! We have had quite a few students pass their first SOL or test out of ESOL services which is incredible and deserves all the accolades and acknowledgment for their hard work and the dedication, additional practice, and early morning testing bootcamps provided by our incredible staff.
As we begin to wrap up the 2024-2025 school year, I thought I would share a few fun facts. We have sent students on 23 field trips with more to come and over a dozen walking field trips to the Martha Washington Library, 5 family coffees, STEAM Night, Art Show, Books and Beyond, 2 Special Education Family Nights, Bingo Night, Chili Cook-Off, Purple Up for Military Students Breakfast, and more. All of this could not be possible without our generous PTA and invested school staff. Please consider joining and donating time to our family events.
Memorial Day weekend for many is the unofficial start of summer, I hope you enjoy time at the pool, baseball field, or at a BBQ with family and we will see you back at the View on Tuesday, May 27th.
Proud Principal, Katie Pluntke
