Dear Terraset Families,

Thank you so much to everyone who showered our Terraset teachers and staff with appreciation last week. We felt truly valued and celebrated thanks to your kindness and generosity. From delicious treats to thoughtful surprises, every detail helped make the week extra special. We are very fortunate to serve such an incredible community each and every day!

Next Monday, 5/19 we will have our last 3 hour early release Monday of the year! Be sure to check your email for this month’s early release Monday dismissal confirmation for your child/ren.  Any changes to that plan should be made by calling the main office at 703-390-5600 by no later than this Thursday, May 15th.  It will be very difficult to navigate dismissal changes on the 19th.  Our priority is to get every Tiger home safely at the correct time.

Warmly,

Katie Aldridge, Principal

Dave Ickowski, Assistant Principal

🎒Did You Know?...

….Our current chronic absenteeism rate is 10.9%. Our goal is to stay below 10% all year. Please note that attendance is taken through the last day of school. This also includes tardies and early dismissals for our students. Every day that we partner together to keep chronic absenteeism down, we provide all Tigers with the environment to succeed. Let’s work together to get and stay below 10% this year!

….Kindergarten Playdates happen over the summer for rising Kindergarteners during the month of August. The Terraset PTO will share more information as it becomes available.

….Terraset is planning for a Sensory Room, also known as the Zen Den, to open in the very near future! This room will provide a tranquil space where students can take a break from sensory overstimulation to reduce stress and improve their experience at school.
