SEPTA Awards Winners!
Last week, we celebrated Tim Evans and Asmae Loukili for winning the SEPTA award for Outstanding Instructional Support Staff. SEPTA stands for Special Education PTA and celebrates outstanding FCPS staff members. We also want to celebrate Chrissy Maguire, Elizabeth Cho, and Syeda Akhtari who were also nominated for awards.
The RHES PTA Rocks!
On behalf of the entire staff, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for making Staff Appreciation Week so special. From the early morning set-ups to the delicious food and thoughtful tokens of appreciation, we truly felt the love and support every single day.
Teaching is a rewarding but challenging job, and your kindness reminded us that we are not in it alone. Your generosity and care mean the world to us.

Walk, Bike, & Roll Day was a Huge Success!
Walk, Bike, and Roll Day was a huge success at Rose Hill—our biggest yet with over 300 participants! Thank you to all the families, parents, and team members who joined us for this fun and active start to the school day. We’re especially grateful to the Fairfax County Police Department for helping keep everyone safe along Rose Hill Drive. It was a beautiful morning filled with energy, smiles, and community spirit!
Orbit of Excellence Award Winners for April
Recently, Ms. Edwards, Principal, proudly celebrated our Orbit of Excellence Award winners, recognizing students who exemplified the April trait of Respect. To honor their achievement, the administrative team served up a delicious pancake breakfast—complete with butter and syrup—which brought smiles to many faces. Awards were handed out in a joyful atmosphere, making it a meaningful moment to highlight and celebrate our amazing students. Way to go, RHES stars!
