We’re so lucky to have such a caring and connected school community.
We also wrapped up our first of three 10-Day Attendance Challenges—thank you for helping your dolphins show up strong and ready to learn each day! Consistent attendance is key to student success, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going in the weeks ahead.
On Monday, we were visited by a very special guest from Heeling House, an organization that uses therapy animals to support children’s emotional well-being and development. Their calming canine companion brought joy, comfort, and lots of tail wags to our dolphins. Learn more about their mission at www.heelinghouse.org.
Looking ahead: SOL testing begins Monday, May 13. A strong day starts the night before—please help your child by ensuring they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive on time, ready to do their best. We believe in our students and are proud of all their hard work!
With appreciation,
Jill D. Stewart, Principal Melanie N. Porter, Assistant Principal
