Dear Falcon Families,
The school year is quickly coming to a close, and we’re getting ready to celebrate a major milestone—our 8th graders moving on to their next chapter!
Each year, the PTA organizes the 8th Grade Celebration, the largest student event we host, with a budget of $10,000. This is our opportunity to give our 8th graders a joyful and memorable send-off.
Our event this year is themed "Falcons Take Flight" and it is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 6 in the evening.
Unfortunately, this year we are facing a serious challenge. Due to limited volunteer involvement, the PTA Executive Board has had to step in temporarily to manage the planning process. However, this is not sustainable, and we will not be able to hold the event without greater participation from 8th grade families.
We urgently need volunteers to take the lead on key roles:
-
Celebration Committee Chair (currently handled by the PTA Board)
- Subcommittee Chair for Marketing & Communications
- Subcommittee Chair for Decorations
We also need Day-of Volunteers — you can sign up here: Signup Genius
If you're able to help in any capacity, please reach out to us at volunteer@frostmspta.org
Let’s come together to help our Falcons Take Flight in style!
Thank you for your support.
Warm regards,
M. Nasser Akhtar
