Congratulations to our Newsies Cast, Crew and Staff
Principal's Message
Even though we are just halfway through the month, May has been a busy month of celebrations of learning, field trips, Fun Fair, the Newsies Production, GRECO day, and end of year assessments. We look forward to finishing the year off strong with our Kindergarten Tea, Presentations of Learning, end of the year parties and our sixth grade promotion!
Thank you to our PTA and parents that shared their appreciation during Teacher and Staff appreciation week. The food provided by our PTA hospitality committee, student cards, gifts, flowers and hugs meant so much to our staff that work incredibly hard to support our students. We also want to say thank you for all our parent volunteers that have helped ensure our end of year activities have been successful. Your support makes a difference and we are grateful for your support!
Over the next couple of weeks, our staff is doing some concentrated work to focus on school culture which encompasses various areas of student support, including wellness, ensuring we have a welcoming community and positive behavior structures of support. Please take a moment and complete this short parent/family survey to provide the team input to be considered.
As we wrap up the school year in a few weeks, we also prepare to say good-bye to a few staff members that are moving out of the area or making another change as well as a special retirement.
