Dear Hunt Valley Families,
Who’s excited for the Teacher and Staff Appreciation and the Spring Festival next week? The Hospitality Committee has organized a thoughtful and fun agenda for the week with catered meals, cookie bar, giveaway raffles, Mr. Softee and much more! More details below on how you can participate and show your appreciation. Don’t forget to purchase your early bird tickets to the spring festival for only $10. Also, check out the amazing online silent auction that’s live right now where you can bid for amazing gift baskets and experiences hosted by some of your favorite teachers. Links are provided below.
Elections for the new PTA Board are coming up and we are at risk for not having a PTA next year. We are still looking for a Treasurer to have an operating PTA. Without the PTA, the students and families will not be able to experience the fall/spring festivals, book fairs, science fair, afterschool enrichment programs, and much more. Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week!
May 5-9, 2025!
SPRING FESTIVAL, Next Friday May 9, 2025!
Spring Festival is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for a fun-filled day of games, food, music, and community celebration. This annual event is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, enjoy the season and raise funds for our kids.

As part of the festivities, we will also be hosting a Silent Auction featuring amazing items generously donated by local businesses and our school community. All proceeds will go directly toward supporting school programs and student activities.

To make this event a success, we need your help! We’re looking for volunteers to assist with setup, booths, food service, cleanup, and more. Whether you can spare an hour or the whole day, your support will make a big difference.

President: Collaborate with the board to set PTA goals aligned with school needs, lead meetings, oversee the board & committees, partner with the school admin, teachers, and staff, work with the Treasurer to manage funds transparently, and support committee event planning and program management

Treasurer: Managing the PTA's finances, including collecting and depositing income, maintaining accurate financial records, creating and monitoring the budget, paying bills, preparing financial reports, and ensuring proper accounting procedures are followed.

Secretary: Organizes meetings, takes minutes, keeps records, manages social media posts, attends and supports PTA-sponsored events, creates meeting and marketing paraphernalia, and performs other delegated duties as assigned. The chair positions must be filled if we are to continue to hold the same great events next year. Please reach out if you're able to help support your PTA. If you were the chair this year and would like to continue next year, please let us know so we can mark that position as filled. We do not want to assume that you will continue next year :).
