Dear Brookfield Community,
This week, we were treated to truly amazing band and strings performances. The talent and dedication of our students were on full display, and the music filled our hearts with joy. It's moments like these and more that remind us of the power of the arts in our schools.
Today was Lunch Hero Day, and we were so touched to see our students showing their appreciation and love for our food services team. The heartfelt words and thoughtful cards truly made their day. Our food services staff works tirelessly to provide nutritious and delicious meals for our students, and their dedication is deeply valued. They are an essential part of our Brookfield family.
Looking ahead, next week is Staff Appreciation Week! We are incredibly excited to partner with the Brookfield PTA to honor all of our amazing teachers and staff. Their hard work, passion, and commitment to our students make Brookfield a truly special place. We have a week of celebrations planned, and we look forward to showing our gratitude for their exceptional contributions.
Finally, we want to provide a quick update on our ongoing renovations. We are making great progress, and we are excited about this continued journey and the beautiful end result. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our facilities for our students and staff.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we make Brookfield a place where students thrive and succeed.
Wishing you a great weekend!
Warmly,
Lesley Hassen, Principal
Margaret Sisler, Assistant Principal
Anthony Ramakis, Assistant Principal

What a fantastic day of fun and community at Field Day! 🎉 A huge thank you to our incredible teachers and all the amazing parent volunteers who made it such a memorable event for our students. And a special shout-out to our awesome PE teachers, Mr. Bernatzky and Mrs. Barker, for their hard work and dedication in organizing such a fantastic day. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for ours!
Mrs. Barker and Mr. B are thrilled to announce that Walk and Bike to School Day is TUESDAY, MAY 7th! This fun annual event offers a fantastic opportunity for our kids and community.

Our fourth grade students are enjoying the wonderful weather during recess!
Ms. Cribby's students are diving into the delicious world of area and perimeter! They're not just calculating with numbers on paper; they're getting hands-on by arranging Cheese-Its to visualize area and then stepping it out on the playground to understand perimeter. It's math that's both tasty and active!
A huge shout-out to the amazing Lunch Heroes at Brookfield! Their hard work and dedication is truly appreciated. We're so grateful for the heart they put into everything they do. Brookfield Lunch Heroes are top-notch!
