We hope everyone had a restful and fun-filled Spring Break! As we return to school and head into the final stretch of the year, things are moving fast. From testing season to end-of-year celebrations, it’s a whirlwind of activity—and we’re here to help keep you in the loop.

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up (May 5–9), and we’re celebrating our incredible RRMS teachers and staff with a special breakfast on Friday, May 9.

We're currently seeking dedicated, enthusiastic parents and caregivers to join the PTA Board for next year. Whether you're new to the school or a seasoned volunteer, there’s a place for you to make a difference and shape our school community. No prior experience required—just a willingness to pitch in and be part of the team.

Preserve Critical Programs for Middle School Students!
Fairfax County’s proposed FY26 budget threatens to cut essential after-school programs that serve all Fairfax County middle schools — including Rocky Run Middle School. These programs keep students safe, spark learning, and support working families. We need your help to stop these cuts and protect these programs
Here's How You Can Take Action:
- Complete this form to send a quick email to your representatives!
- Help ensure continued funding by completing the Board of Supervisors survey.
- Contact Your Supervisors and School Board Representatives - ask them not to eliminate Middle School After School funding!
