Dear Olde Creek Families,
We hope everyone had (and is having) a relaxing and fun-filled Spring Break — we're looking forward to enjoying springtime with all of our Bears back this Monday!
As a reminder, Monday, April 21st is an early release day. All students will be dismissed at 12:15 PM using their regular dismissal method, unless changes have already been communicated to the school. If you need to update your child’s dismissal for that day, please take a moment to complete THIS FORM.
We’re also excited to welcome Mr. Elkins, our new Assistant Principal, to the Olde Creek community on Monday!
And don’t forget — Cultural Heritage Night is this Thursday! We hope your family will join us to celebrate the rich diversity of our community. Even if you’re not able to volunteer, we’d love for you to attend. See below for more details!
Lastly, we’re gearing up for Staff Appreciation Week, which kicks off the first week of May! The OCES Admin Team and PTA are teaming up to make it an unforgettable celebration for our amazing staff. We’ve already received so many generous donations from our Amazon WISH LIST — thank you! FCPS (and Olde Creek) will be celebrating Earth Week next week, April 21st-April 25th.

What to Expect:

🌍 Cultural Displays – Explore exhibits featuring traditional clothing, delicious foods, and creative presentations representing different cultures.

Olde Creek Talent Show
The OC Talent Show will be on Tuesday, June 10th. We are so excited to see our talented Bears perform! If your child is interested, please complete this Google Form by Tuesday, April 22nd.
Class Placement Input Form 2025-2026
As we begin planning for next school year, we invite you to share any information that may help us with your child’s class placement. Our team will thoughtfully consider each student’s strengths and needs, along with your input, as we work to create balanced and supportive classroom communities. While we cannot accept requests for specific teachers due to staffing changes and enrollment shifts, we do encourage you to share any academic or behavioral insights that would help us make the best placement for your child.
