Chag Sameach to all in our community celebrating Passover! For Jewish communities, this holiday celebrates the deliverance of Jewish people from slavery in Egypt. Many Jewish families eat a ceremonial meal known as the Seder, which involves telling the story of the exodus from Egypt as well as eating various symbolic foods.

Last week Parklawn Panthers participated in our second quarterly community meetings! Students across grade levels came together to kick off the fourth quarter. We discussed how attendance matters and celebrated our monthly grade level attendance winners throughout the school year.

We once again had over 500 students with 10 consecutive days of perfect attendance. without being absent or tardy. They joined our raffle with our March Perfect 10 recipients. Fourteen students in grades PreK-5th grade are joining Mrs. Forgy for a surprise celebration after spring break! 

Our April Perfect 10 competition will run from April 21-May 2. Let's see if we can beat our record of 543 Perfect 10 award winners!
