Congratulations Dr. Hanna Langstein!

Annandale Students, Families, and Community,

We are excited to share that Dr. Hanna Langstein has been selected as an interim assistant principal at Halley Elementary School. While we will miss her leadership at Annandale, we look forward to seeing her take on this new role and continue her commitment to supporting students and families.

As an assistant principal at Annandale High School, Dr. Langstein has supported the development of our multi-tiered systems of support for attendance and mentored new administrators. Her instructional leadership supported teams in planning challenging academic tasks and creating scaffolds that support all students in accessing higher-level thinking. Prior to her arrival at Annandale, Dr. Langstein worked in the Centreville pyramid, having been a middle and high school social studies and ESOL teacher, ESOL department chair, on-time graduation resource teacher, and MTSS co-lead.

Dr. Langstein’s new role is a reflection of her dedication and impact, and while we are sad to see her go, we know she will bring the same passion and expertise to Halley Elementary School. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Langstein on this well-earned opportunity.
