 Dear Mighty Red Bird Families,
April is the Month of the Military Child, and we’ve truly enjoyed celebrating the strength, resilience, and contributions of our military-connected students. Today’s Donuts with Dependents and Popsicle Playdate were joyful opportunities to honor our amazing kids and their families. Thank you to all who joined us!
Our 2nd graders have also been hard at work to prepare for Market Day—a highlight of their economics unit! Students have the chance to become young entrepreneurs by developing small businesses, designing and marketing their own products, and gaining firsthand experience in what it takes to run a successful venture. A special shout-out to Mr. Pulte, whose outreach to Scrub Daddy helped inspire our students. In response, the company generously donated sponges for our budding business owners—what an exciting connection between classroom learning and real-world innovation!
Wishing all of our families a restful and refreshing spring break.
Warm Regards,
Ms. Drake, Mrs. Agner, and Mrs. Long
