Senior Legacy Brick Coordinator
A big thank you to Shane & Katherine Gilbert for volunteering their time for several years as the Senior Legacy Brick Coordinators. Shane & Katherine are Senior parents themselves and this will be their last year as Woodson parents.
We are in need of someone to take over this special program for next year. Shane & Katherine have made copious notes and will happily provide training.

All Night Grad Party
Click here to get your All Night Grad Party ticket! Prices will increase May 1. This is a chance for your graduate to celebrate in style at the beautiful St. James while you relax at home, knowing your student is safely off the roads and in a drug and alcohol free setting.
We are also raffling off VIP seats to graduation. 10 sets of 8 seats will be raffled off–click here to buy your chance(s) to win!
Questions? Email Kirsten at woodsonangp@gmail.com.
The All Night Grad Party Needs Your Help!
Sign up here to volunteer at the all night grad party. It’s a Cavalier tradition that freshman, sophomore, and junior parents help out with the event to “pay it forward” for when their own kids are celebrating. It’s a really fun night and we provide free food, drinks, and COFFEE all night! If you can’t stay up all night, there are still roles you can help with.

Purple Up! Day - April 9th
To show our support for all our military-connected families, we are inviting all Fairfax County students, families, employees, and community members to “Purple Up!” on Wednesday, April 9, for military children.
Why purple? Purple symbolizes all branches of the military as a combination of Army green, Marine Corps red, and Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force and Space Force blue.
Woodson Orchestra
Congratulations to all the Woodson Orchestra ensembles on their performances at their Orchestra Assessments. All groups earned Superior and Excellent ratings.
Woodson Orchestra also had three performers selected to the All-Virginia Orchestra. Congratulations to Audry Kan (violin), Sahn Kim (violin), and James Ngo (violin)!
Woodson Winter Guard
Congratulations to the Woodson winter guard as the GOLD Medalists in their class at the Atlantic Indoor Association Winter Guard Championships this past Saturday at the Hampton Coliseum! It was a great end to the competition season and a great finale for our Senior Team Members. Interested in joining this award winning team? We will be having tryouts for the fall colorguard marching band season soon for the 25-26 school year!
Volunteers Needed for AP Testing
Woodson High School is in search of parent volunteers and/or recent graduate volunteers for this spring’s AP testing. This is a great opportunity to volunteer during the school day! Training will be provided.
AP exams will take place from May 5th – May 16th. There are two test sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Morning test sessions require proctors to be present from 7:45 a.m.-11:45 a.m. (approximately). Afternoon test sessions require proctors to be present from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (approximately).
Please contact Jamie Korpacz (jlkorpacz@fcps.edu) and Victoria Powell (vpowell1@fcps.edu) if you are able to volunteer and help proctor. As always, we greatly appreciate the support from our parents/guardians. Thank you!
