Dear Oak View Families,
What a fantastic first full week it has been as your principal! I'm thrilled to be part of the Oak View community and so grateful for the warm welcome.
This week's highlight was undoubtedly our spectacular production of The Little Mermaid. Our incredibly talented students shone brightly with their amazing singing and acting! A huge thank you to our dedicated stage crew for ensuring a flawless show. Kudos to Ms. Sweet, Ms. Aldridge, Ms. Farris, and Ms. Sousa for their exceptional direction and commitment.
It was also an honor to host our Operation Purple Sunrise this past Wednesday, celebrating our wonderful military-connected youth and their families. It was our distinct honor to welcome so many service members and their families to our school. Your sacrifices and dedication to our country are deeply appreciated.
I also want to express my sincere appreciation to the family members who joined me for my first Coffee & Conversation earlier this week. It was wonderful to connect with you, hear your thoughts, and begin building our partnership. I warmly invite all parents to join me for the upcoming Coffee & Conversations scheduled for the remaining Wednesday mornings in April at 8:30 AM. Please note that there will be no Coffee & Conversation during Spring Break. I understand that work schedules can make it challenging for many to attend a daytime gathering, and I want to assure you that I am working on scheduling evening opportunities to connect as well. Please stay tuned for more information on those after Spring Break!
Thank you for a wonderful week. Wishing you all a restful Spring Break!
Warmly,
Jamie

Your Input Matters: Share Your Thoughts on 2025-26 Class Placements!
As we look ahead to the 2025-26 school year, we want to ensure that we create the most positive and effective learning environments for all of our students here at Oak View ES. We value your insights as parents and guardians and invite you to share any information you believe would be helpful as we begin this process. Please understand that while we carefully consider all input, requests for specific teachers cannot be honored due to the many factors involved in creating balanced and successful classrooms.
Please submit your input using THIS GOOGLE FORM anytime through Monday, May 26. This timeframe affords us the time necessary to carefully review all feedback as we begin the placement process.
Thank you for your partnership and for taking the time to provide valuable information that will help us create the best possible learning experiences for our students in the 2025-26 school year.
