Special Movie Screening - Letters from the Battlefield

You are invited to a special screening of Letters from the Battlefield tomorrow evening at Annandale High School. This documentary was created by three Annandale graduates from the Class of 1982: Jacqueline Lundquist, Jude Pago, and Andre Jones.

The film shares the story of Jacqueline’s father and his service in the Vietnam War, told through his letters and audio recordings. Her journey to better understand his experience led to an unexpected connection with a former North Vietnamese soldier—offering a thoughtful perspective on both sides of the war.

Letters from the Battlefield is more than just a reflection on history. It is a testament to the power of understanding different perspectives and finding connection across cultures, something that defines who we are as an Annandale community.

The event will being with a PTSA Social at 5:15pm, which will provide an opportunity to connect before the film. The film will begin at 6:00pm in the auditorium followed by a brief PTSA meeting for those who would like to stay and participate.
