Important Leadership Updates for the 2025-2026 School Year at McNair Elementary School

Greetings McNair Families,

We are excited to share some important leadership updates for the 2025-2026 school year.

Our incredible Assistant Principal, Ms. Brandy O’Bryant, has been offered a new leadership opportunity within Region 5 for the upcoming school year. While we will deeply miss Ms. O’Bryant and her daily presence at McNair Elementary, we know how valuable it is for aspiring principals to gain leadership experience across a variety of school communities. Beginning July 9, 2025, Ms. O’Bryant will serve as the Assistant Principal at Daniels Run Elementary School. We are so grateful for her dedication, commitment, and the positive impact she has had on our students, staff, and families. We wish her all the best as she continues to grow and refine her leadership in this exciting next chapter.

At the same time, we are thrilled to announce that Ms. Ipsa Stringer has been named the new Assistant Principal of McNair Elementary School, effective July 9, 2025. Ms. Stringer currently serves the Willow Springs Elementary School community and has been selected for this leadership role as part of the Region’s continued investment in developing school leaders. She brings a wealth of instructional expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for student success that will undoubtedly complement and strengthen the work already happening at McNair. We look forward to welcoming Ms. Stringer to our community and introducing her to our amazing students, staff, and families.

Please join us in celebrating both Ms. O’Bryant and Ms. Stringer as they embark on these exciting new opportunities!

All the best,

Elizabeth Watson
