National Assistant Principals Week

.

National Assistant Principals Week, April 7–11, 2025, is a celebration of the unsung heroes in our education system. During this week, we proudly honor the five dedicated assistant principals at Herndon High School, Brandi Barnes, Phil Cronin, Melissa Tochterman, Dana VanSlyke, and Ruth Woods. Their unwavering commitment, tireless efforts, and compassionate leadership help create a supportive and enriching environment for every student and staff member. Whether guiding academic success, fostering a positive school culture, or supporting day-to-day operations, they are the heart of our school community. We are deeply grateful for their service and the lasting impact they make each day. Thank you for all you do!

Job Fair Success

.

The Herndon High School student job fair was a buzzing success, effectively connecting students with valuable employment opportunities. Numerous local businesses and organizations participated, eager to offer career pathways for graduating seniors ready to enter the workforce and summer jobs for underclassmen seeking experience. The event saw enthusiastic engagement from students across all grade levels, many of whom made promising connections and explored potential future careers, demonstrating the strong value of this initiative in bridging the gap between education and employment.
