Katie McGee *Varsity Softball
"Katie is one of the hardest workers on the team. She doesn't question coaches when instructions are given, and she is flexible in terms of positions to play on the field. After our first two games of the season, she has the highest batting average and one of the highest on base percentages and the highest RBIs. She is a kind, respectful, and loyal teammate to the other players".-

Scott Roland *Varsity Boys Lacrosse
"Scott Roland is an absolute gamer. He is ferocious and fearless. A born leader with great field vision, he lets his play do all the talking. He is an absolute Joy to coach and follows every direction to a T! He plays a pivotal role on our offense". -

Hall of Fame
The Herndon High School Sports Hall of Fame is back up and accepting nominations!
In order to be considered for the Herndon Athletic Hall of Fame an application must be submitted. If you know of somebody you wish to be considered, please have them fill out this form or you can fill it out on their behalf. It is important that you provide their contact information and as much information as possible regarding their athletic accomplishments in high school, college, and professional athletics as well as any civic or professional awards they may have received.
Eligibility criteria:
- A former Herndon coach or athletic support person who has retired
- A Herndon athlete that graduated at least 10 years ago
- A nominee must receive 70% of the HOF Committee's votes to gain election
- A nominee's form will remain active for 5 years (if they don't get voted in).
- After 5 years, another form will have to be submitted
