 Dear Families,
Hope you are doing well and staying healthy. We’ve noticed an uptick in cold/flu these last couple of weeks combined with allergy season. Please do take care and keep students home if they have a fever. This transition of seasons often brings this hit on our health. We had a wonderful Math and Literacy night, and we want to thank our Woodburn staff for all of their planning and hard work to make this successful. We are fast approaching SOL and testing season. This is a timeframe where we working hard with intervention groups, extension groups, and working to help students with test language. It is critical that students are here every day to gain the most of these instructional moments.
A friendly reminder that students are off on Monday, March 31st in observance or Eid and on Tuesday, April 1st as it is a Teacher workday. We also have our Kindergarten orientation scheduled for April 1st from 2-3pm and we look forward to seeing you there! Eid Mubarak to all of our families who are celebrating the end of the fasting season of Ramadan. Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you soon!
Ms. Iyer and Ms. Dauberman
