In her latest Weekly Reflections, Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid talks about the recording of an episode of Our Voices, Our Future. The YouTube podcast features Dr. Reid learning about the individuals who make FCPS a premier school division.
This time, she sat down with Clermont Elementary's art teacher, Madeline Deveney, to discuss Ms. Deveney’s journey to becoming an art educator and the ways in which she incorporates classroom curricula into students’ art projects. Watch the video of Dr. Reid and Ms. Deveney.
The Edison Pyramid Art Show is April 9th from 5-7 pm at Edison High School. Come out to support the 22 selected Clermont students who have artwork displayed in the show!
Class photos and the sixth grade panoramic have been rescheduled to Friday, April 11th. If you already ordered class photos you do not need to do anything - your order will still apply for the April 11th date.

Join us in celebrating Month of the Military Child this April! We're honoring our military-connected students' resilience and unique contributions with a spirit week, April 7-11, and a special clap-out on April 9th. Let's recognize their strength and service to our community. Learn more about Month of the Military Child and FCPS resources for military families.
It’s Kindergarten Registration Time!
Attending kindergarten provides children with an opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional, problem-solving, and self-regulation skills they will use throughout their lives. Registering your child early helps us prepare and ensure we have the teachers and resources needed on the first day of school.
Families should prepare for registration by gathering documents and completing forms on the FCPS kindergarten registration webpage. FCPS offers support and resources for all families to help with registration and the transition to kindergarten. For support in other languages, visit the kindergarten registration webpage.
If you have questions about kindergarten registration please contact Katie Simmons at kesimmons@fcps.edu.
