 WOW! Friday night was awesome. Thank you to all our families who volunteered, made donations, or attended the annual basketball game. It was a ROARING success!
Our 5th & 6th grade spring dance was so much fun on Monday. It is incredible to see our students have fun, dance, eat snacks, and just enjoy being together. Thank you to our SCA sponsors Ms. Deal & Ms. Benson and our SCA Officers for this opportunity.
Last week, our 1st graders shared their research projects with classmates and families. Thank you for joining us and hearing our students share their hard work. Our Eco Defense Squad held their 2nd free SWAP of the year. It was great to see families work together to reduce, reuse, and recycle rather than throwing items away or purchasing new.
This week, each grade level will have a STEM Assembly hosted by our generous PTA. This will be the 2nd assembly for the year for each grade. They are trying something new and offering a unique experience for each grade to ensure it is hands-on and interactive for all our lions. This is an example of your PTA dollars at work! THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported the Basketball Game! It was a great night! Special thanks must go to our amazing staff for playing, the wonderful Band and Chorus students, our SCA Board students, our PTA committee leads Utpal Shah, Rachael Moorhead and Caitlin Gaffey and all the incredible volunteers without whom these events would not be possible - thank you!!
- Our next PTA Meeting is on March 26th at 7pm - this meeting will be virtual and is open to all! Our Guest Speaker will be Sophia Fazel from Tysons-Pimmit library discussing literacy support and programs throughout Spring and Summer! Hope to “see” you there.
