Oak View Review

Students

Hello, Oak View! As the calendar turns to April, we want to acknowledge the remarkable achievements of our students and the unwavering commitment of our teachers.

We're all looking forward to Spring Break! Don't forget, Monday, March 31, is a holiday; April 1 is a Teacher Work Day, no fooling; and students return to school on Wednesday, April 2.

Campus Cleanup Day

Come for our spring campus cleanup day on March 29 from 9 to 12. Let’s get together and make our campus look beautiful! Bring gloves and any shovels or rakes that you may have available. Scouting and others are welcome.  We’re happy to sign off on volunteer hours for secondary students.

If you have any questions, you can reach out to Oak View’s Get2Green Coordinators: Kim Andray and Amy Riddick.

Kindergarten Orientation

Oak View will be hosting Kindergarten Orientation on April 1, from 2:00-3:00. Kindergarten teachers will host students and parents/guardians at the meeting and share information about what to expect and what students will learn. We can't wait to welcome our newest Eagles!  RSVP for Orientation here.

Fourth-Grade Field Trip

Our fourth graders had a great trip to Jamestown this week, and they said it was a big success! Even though the bus ride felt like it took a long time, everyone thought it was worth it.

Students were really excited to finally see the places they've been learning about in class. It was like the history lessons came alive for them!

Thank you
