PTA Updates for March 20th
RUN-A-THON KICKS OFF MARCH 13TH!
This year’s Run-A-Thon fundraiser began March 13th, and donations will be collected through Friday, April 11th. Run dates for this year’s fundraiser will be Thursday, April 3rd and Friday, April 4th. Save the dates and keep an eye out for a volunteer signup.

RUN-A-THON POSTER RAFFLE!
Any student who brings a poster promoting the Run-a-thon to school by Friday, March 28th will be entered into a raffle for 4 movie passes to Look theatres.
6TH GRADE CARNIVAL!
Our 6th graders are moving onto middle school next year, and we’d love to give them a memorable celebration and send-off! This party is funded by generous donations from our community. With your support, we’ll be able to provide food, entertainment, games and t-shirts!
Every contribution, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping us make this milestone special for our students!

SPRING BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS!
Dragon Runners Spring 2025 starts Tuesday, March 18th
The Dragon Runners Group is a running program designed for 3rd-6th graders. This is an exciting program that is aimed at strengthening students in body and spirit by combining group activities with running.

Overtime Athletics: iSpeed Speed & Agility
Take the first step to a faster step! Come join us as we go up and down, left and right, back and forth all the way to the finish line. OTA will implement its signature curriculum for teaching the latest techniques in athletic skill development. This "one stop shop" for improving as a soccer player, basketball player, football player, baseball player, lacrosse player, field hockey player, tennis player, volleyball player, and playground champion will include games, track and field contests, and a field day atmosphere every class! This program will include elements of the Presidential Fitness Challenge and Road Runners Course Program. The only question that will be asked, "Can you beat who you were on the first day, when you play on the last day?

Overtime Athletics: Fast Break Basketball
3-2-1…Swish! Join us for Fast Break Basketball where we’ll “cross-over” between GAME PLAY and skills stations. The games within the game are where we will expose players to HOOPS skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defense. Test your abilities having fun scrimmaging or playing games like Dribble Scribble, King of the Court, Hot Shot Shooting, Knock Out, and MORE! Be ready to take that last second shot, make that extra pass, and block that go ahead basket while learning the fundamentals of Basketball and the concepts of teamwork.

Chess Club with Silver Knights Academy (formerly Magnus Chess)
Fun is the name of the game...but Silver Knights Chess Academy (formerly Magnus Chess Academy) also sneaks in a bit of critical thinking, sportsmanship, and patience into chess club! Each week students of all levels do a fun but challenging lesson with one of our great coaches from our world class curriculum followed by practice games against other students in the class.
